The CQPA certification is offered by the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
The exam is designed to test the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of quality process analysis and improvement.
The exam is available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, and Portuguese.
To be eligible to take the CQPA exam, candidates must have eight years of work experience in one or more of the CQPA BoK (Body of Knowledge) areas.
Alternatively, candidates can have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or college and four years of work experience in one or more of the CQPA BoK areas.
The CQPA certification is valid for three years, and candidates must recertify every three years to maintain their certification status.
Recertification requires candidates to earn 18 recertification units (RUs) by engaging in professional development activities, such as attending training courses, publishing articles, and volunteering for ASQ committees.
The CQPA certification is recognized globally and can lead to better job opportunities and higher salaries for certified professionals.
